Brno, Sep 25 (BD) – Two of Brno’s best Christmas markets will stay open longer than normal this year. Náměstí Svobody with its music and entertainment programme and festive drinks selection, and Dominikanské Náměstí, with its family atmosphere and emphasis on gastronomy, will remain open to Brno residents, visitors and tourists until January 5th, including Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve.
Brno Christmas will begin on November 29th with the now-traditional video-mapping show, and continue with a busy program for children and adults until the season ends. According to Brno Tourist Information Centre, the markets will involve all the most popular attractions from previous years: “Refreshment stalls and Christmas gifts, original Brno mugs and returnable packaging, a Christmas tree as a reminder of the first ever in our country, concerts, a large hand-carved nativity scene and Santa’s post office, Advent walks and rides, and views from the festively lit tower of the Old Town Hall. All these things are inherent to Brno Christmas and delight thousands of people every year from Brno and across the country.”
