Brno, Jan 27 (BD) – Around 5am this morning the South Moravian Fire Department sent five units to put out a fire in a cellar in a high-rise building on Rerychova in Brno-Bystrc.
Evacuation of residents was not necessary.
“During an intervention in a heavily smoky space, we discovered the body of an unknown person who had died on the site. Investigators are currently working at the scene of the accident,” said South Moravian Fire Department spokesman Jaroslav Mikoška.
The fire was extinguished at 6:22am.
