Are data mining and machine learning your bread and butter? On June 25, you can attend the English-speaking conference “Let there be light – Anomaly Detection in Network Traffic” organized by the independent platform Machine Learning MeetUp Brno. On Tuesday, you can set off on a journey through art that has been forbidden and looted by the Third Reich during WWII. Narrated by Oscar winner Toni Servillo (The Great Beauty), the documentary Hitler vs Picasso will be screened at Kino Scala, and you can find the tickets on their website.

Hey Jude, don’t make it bad, and attend the Backbeat Beatles concert at Sono Centrum on June 27. For the first time, the British tribute band is coming to Czech Republic, singing in Prague and in Brno. It’s not too late to buy your tickets!
Last year, Brno Daily wrote about it – and now, is time to light your heart with passion again! From June 24 to 28 the Ibericà Festival is back in Brno with a program full of events. On Thursday June 27, you can taste traditional Spanish and South American food at the Fiesta Gastronomica; and on Friday you can attend the Galakoncert and see international stars dancing to the notes of flamenco. Never heard about Strážnice? That’s a pity, because for 74 years now, the International Folklore Festival takes place there! From June 27 until June 30, different workshops. The 37th Folklore Festival “Children’s Strážnice” is also part of the program! Find more information on the official website.

Did you ever visited the Lednice castle? What if you went there traveling with a retro train? Every weekend and on public holidays until the middle of September, an old train operates from Břeclav to Lednice. Get on board after finding the train schedule here (only in Czech)!

On July 1979, all the world was stuck in front of their television watching the first man landing on the moon. 50 years after, Technical Museum of Brno is celebrating that historical day with the exhibition Tenkrát na Měsíci [Once upon a time on the Moon].
