Czech Rep., Oct 1, (BD) – According to CZSO, the average Czech citizen consumes 3.4 kg of wine grapes and drinks 17.2 litres of wine per year.
The most popular types of wine in the Czech Republic are Veltlinske Zelene, Muller Thurgau and Ryzink Rynsky.
Frankovka is the 5th most popular, and the most popular red wine. Svatovavrinecke is the only other red wine in the top 10.
The data was collected by CZSO in 2019.
